Marc Broussard is an artist with a unique gift for capturing the spirit of classic R&B, rock and soul in contemporary words. The son of famed guitarist Ted Broussard of "The Boogie Kings" fame, he was nurtured at a young age in the vibrant music scene of Lafayette, Louisiana. After releasing a highly successful independent EP at the age of 20, Broussard made his major label debut with "Carencro". The album contained the breakthrough hit "Home" and catapulted him into the national spotlight. This and subsequent albums revealed Broussard as a Southern soul singer with a rare talent and an innate stylistic and emotional authenticity that have made him one of the most remarkable artists of his generation. NPR wrote, "His music exudes soulful Louisiana blues, but his songs blend those influences with raucous rock 'n' roll to create unique and infectious music." The Washington Times noted, "Few modern voices are as powerful as Marc Broussard's soulful, bayou-born baritone."

Broussard released several albums on major labels over the past decade before returning to his independent roots and releasing several acclaimed original recordings and charitable cover albums through his S.O.S. Foundation (Save our Soul).
