It is the unquenchable love for the blues that bonds this duo and takes them here and there, roaming the world, guitar in hand. From distant lands, one is from an island in the Indian Ocean called Mauritius and the second from Switzerland. Their paths have fused into a cross-cultural complicity that reminds us that music is, above all, a universal language that transcends every boundary.

Three years have elapsed since «The TWO» has been sharing their unchained passion for the blues.

From Lake Geneva, plummeting in the Creole lagoons of the Indian Ocean, to the murky waters of the Mississippi Delta, their honest groove, feeds on authentic daily narratives of modern hardships, joys, and hopes.

Wild at times, smooth at others but always sincere and profound, their music is an invitation for a touching and heartfelt trip to the roots of the blues. Bewitching the audience by an earthy yet spiritual cry, they cast a spell on the senses and the innermost soul that cannot be escaped.

Winners of the Swiss Blues Challenge in 2014, the band had the privilege to represent Switzerland abroad at the International Blues Challenge, in the USA and at the European Blues Challenge, in Belgium. Their presence in Memphis, did not go unnoticed, for out of 200 bands, they proudly reached the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge, in January 2015.

With over a 130 concerts during 2015, “The TWO’’ has accumulated signs of gratitude after every gig, both locally and around Europe : Zagreb International Blues Festival (Croatia), BlueBalls Festival (Switzerland), Den Bla° Festival (Denmark), Narcao Blues Festival (Italy), Cahors Blues Festival (France). Certainly, what crowns this memorable year for the duo was an invitation to the the legendary stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival, for their 49th edition.

The road is cleared and more exciting adventures lie ahead for The TWO.
