Coely (°1994, Antwerp Belgium)
started her career at the age of 17 after someone heard her singing in a youth centre in downtown Antwerp. She signed to independent record label Beatville (2012) while still in school. It was the start of an amazing rollercoaster ride.

On September 13th Coely released "the first song she ever made" called "Ain't Chasing Pavements", a raw, yet clubby hip hop beat, with a strong and powerful female rap vocal. Coely's first song received high rotation airplay on several radio stations in the Benelux, Studio Brussel even selected the song as their "Hotshot". As the media attention started to grow, Coely worked on her first EP called "RAAH The Soulful Yeah" which she released March 23rd.

While successfully releasing singles called "Nothing On Me" and later on "All I Do" she worked hard on improving her live performance, "a one woman show" assisted by her own favourite DJ "Ephonk". Recently she also started working on songs with the latest addition to the Beatville stable, the 19 year old rapper called "DVTCH NORRI$".

Coely was born to be on stage and perform. At every concert, she’s visibly happy, displays a variety of skills and wins the hearts of the audience with her explosive energy. Her rapidly growing live reputation created new opportunities like opening for several artists, e.g. Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Jessie Ware, De La Soul, …

Coely graduated June 27th 2013, the next day she started her very first festival season by opening "Couleur Café" (BE). That same summer, she played at Dour Festival (BE), Lokerse Feesten (BE), Into The Great Wide Open (NL), Valkhof Festival (NL), Food For Your Senses (LUX) … In total, she played 34 festival shows and got crowned "Queen of the Festivals" as she was the hardest working Belgian artist this past summer (Source: Studio Brussel). To top it all off, she won the RedBull Electropedia Award for Breakthrough of the Year.
